New Hair ( Crochet Braids) and new classic guitar

Here's my first set of crochet braids the hair i used called Glance Model Model Water Wave , I brought it from pak comestics for £3.49 a pack. I brought 3 packs of hair in 1b and  1 bag in colour 2.I wish I only brought colour 2 as my hair in between 1b/2. Dark brown looks more natural on me.Next time I'll only buy colour 2 and maybe 4/30 as a highlight look. I use 3 and half bags of hair and think its looks very natural ,crocheting easy  but cornrowing your on hair, hard work.The style easy to maintain just get up and go.


My guitar is a classic black with nylon strings from kijk shop in the netherlands it cost me only 49.99 euros ,its my first guitar l'll going to learn via youtube . The black girl from the noisette inspired me to learn.

Catrice Cosmestic Nail polish

Here's some pictures of the nail polish l brought on my trip to kaufhof department store in monchengladbach, germany.Monchengladbach is that next major city for me since l live near the border of germany and netherlands .Its a great little city with about quarter million people living there and you can also get lots of products for afro hair there,there quite a few afro shops there.This is where l go for my hair products.

The colour's called the pinky and the brain 790 ,its was only 2.50 euro and its a lovely shade of pink.I used two to three coats as l hate peeling nail vanish ,l should really start wearing gloves to wash plates and other manual work but for now l'll have to topup my nail polish,untill l get some gloves.

Cassie and Rhianna shaved head look

One thing l like about both girls is the shaved head look ,about 17 years ago l shaved my whole head and l love it, One thing it taught me you don't have to have hair to be feminine and its so easy to maintain . No hair products  just wash and go.I'm thinking of shaving  one side of my head here's a few pictures of some girls who look sexy with the shved head look.

Primark playsuit uk size 16 ( polka dots) and my new h and m checked shirt

 When your a Uk size 16 it can be hard to find clothes especially in Netherlands as most Dutch women are quite slim ,but what can you expected if half of them ride single gear bicycle's and the other half ride gear bicycles.In Amsterdam last summer it was a nightmare trying to find clothes in a size 16/44 but down south in Limburg where l live Dutch women get fatter and shorter so its not to bad.
I still struggle to buy shoes in a size 42/8 as the women aren't as tall and don't have big feet in Limburg, Netherlands thou .I'm 5ft 8 1/2 inches or 174cm, l'm tall then the average women in the uk but probably the same height in the netherlands but who wants to be average but up north in Amsterdam l felt short lol, most women up north are my height or taller and you can always get you size 42/8 in shoes.

So when l went shopping in Essen , Germany and snapped up  this lovely playsuit (romper) which is black and white polka dots, its a uk size 16,thanks god, the Primark in  Essen better then the one in my home town of Manchester, l also brought a lovely checked shirt from h and m this is a size 16 too. l love both items and will enjoy wearing them since summer here.

What to do when your fix up of not finding clothes to fix ,buy a sewing machine and learn to sew

l brought it from http://www.matson.nl as my old machine at home in Manchester. It cost me 115 euro including delivery and l'm very happy with it. l havent tried it yet but l'm sure it work fine.l'll review by the end of this week.Singer a excellent maker and has a good reputation for making sewing machine that last .it only took four days to come that include sat and sun which are working days.

My new Pattern Cutting books by winifred aldrich

On the ABC pattern cutting course l did at college, this is where the instruction sheets were copied from and this is the book my tutor says l needed.Its an expensive book even on amazon but its an investment, in my future plans to be an talior. l brought for £21.95 on amazon and its worth every penny.The first thing l'm doing from this book is making a closed fitted gingham shirt in pink gingham ,pictures coming soon.

My Sewing Machine

Here my sewing machine ,this is what l use to create all the magic on.Its Joy sewing machine , that l brought online for £65.00 pounds. And it works like a dream, l've had it for about 3 years.And l brought it online at
http://www.ace-apparelcraftequipment.co.uk/ .l was looking long and hard for a sewing machine, but most of them were out of my budget , so when l saw sewing machine at that price l jumped at the chance to buy it, as most full size new sewing machine start at 80 pounds upwards.And its been a great buy.
 l've also been searching online for new sewing machine feets that l don't have and have notice lots of complaints about joy sewing machines, l was really surpise about this but l can honestly say my machine works like a dream.I havent experience any of the faults other people have with my joy sewing machine  thank goodness.
